The travel to the British Virgin Islands

Day 4.
We continued our trip to «the Dog Islands», where we finded splendid coral reefs. Though the rocks «The baths» located on the neighbor island «Virgin Gorda» are not less splendid. It's a unique formation of rocks, which is interesting as well as from underwater and above-water exploring. After that and after navigating a little along the island, we dropped the anchor to have lunch just in front of the «Spanish Town», then we take a taxi from the towns' quay to look over the island. At the evening we reached the bay «North Sound» called also «Gorda Sound», there we had fun in the yacht club «Bitter End». In spite of it's name, it's a high class yacht resort where we danced under the rhythms of reggae and local orchestra and appreciated the exotic Caribbean dishes.

Day 5.
In the morning we held a consultation about remaining at «North Sound», splendid closed by the islands and reefs bay for detail study or to make a trip to the island «Anegada», which is located 13 miles norther. In «North Sound» we can spend few days — it's one of the most extinguished harbors in the Caribbean. In it's large limits is possible to practice windsurfing, water skies, to swim with a mask and flippers, go on excursions and then when come back to the bosom of civilization, there is a possibility to visit shops and bars. The island «Anegada» presume something different. It's a low (10 meters height) covered with palms island resembling to an atoll. It's bordered with coral barring reef, the third biggest in the world. Because of it's low coast line, it was called «the drown island». It's even difficult to see it from the seaside, so it's not strange that there have been more than hundred shipwrecks around the island on the coral reefs (and now it's a very attractive place for diving). The nearness to the environment, the naturalness and serenity — this is it's atmosphere. Desert beaches, lace of reefs, unique flora and faun of its salt ponds and place of living of refined creatures — pink flamingos. The evening is the mean time to sit at the veranda in the restaurant of the reef hotel and to order lobsters or fish sword and «mahi mahi». We have choosed the second option.
