The passage from Genoa to Cap Ferrat tooked 4 hours. During the way we passed by San Remo (very big and good harbour), Monaco (2 harbours), Menton (good harbour). The distance was about 75 miles, the wind was about 3-4 forces accordind to Bosporus. In case of calm sea, it’s possible to make the distance within 3 hours. The speed of the motor yachts which length is between 46 and 60 foots (14,8 – 18,3 meters) depending on the charching is 22 to 25, sometimes even 28 knots. In the gulf of Cap Ferrat there are normally a huge amount of yachts, starting from the 100 feet mega yacht and ocean cruising liners and ending up with the simple boats of the local residents. >>
