Navigating through the Caribbean

The British Virgin Islands — a legendary cruising itinerary. It doesn't matter if it's your first trip or the 21-st in the «Caribbean Sea», you can't find a better place! Stabile gentle temperature, line navigation, soft trade wind and blinding sea — it's a real paradise for a navigator! The British Virgin Island's from the north — east side are located on the «golf of Francis Drake», one of the beautiest and safiest sea cruising areas in the world. On the west there are about 60 «Virginian islands of USA», the biggest and the famousest from them: «St John island», «St Thomas island» and «St Croix island», which are situated in half day of navigating from «Tortola». The chain of «Virginian islands» stretch on 40 kilometers, sea passages vary between 2 and 15 miles.

The islands and traditions

St Thomas islandThe island of «St Thomas» is the most famous cruising area in the «Caribbean Sea». There is located the principle maritime port. The capital Charlotte Amal'i (named in the honor of the Danish queen) is literally full of duty free shops with a huge choice of clothes from the best designers houses and trade mark merchandise — it's the paradise for the addicted of shopping. Here the night life is in full swing: percussion band, reggae, cobo and limbo dance show nearly in every hotel and bar.

St John island
The island of «St John» is the smallest and in the opinion of many people is the most lovely from the three main islands of the archipelago.
