The travel to the Seychelles Islands

Practically every Seychelles island is unique both for its nature and recreation possibilities!

There is no better way to get to know the magic of Seychelles than being on a board of a yacht. The splendid itineraries will amaze both the new sailor and the experienced one. On the islands, you will discover a myriad of berths on the azure waters of the Seychelles.

We flied in at the airport of the island Mahé. It’s considered as the biggest island of the Seychelles islands. Within 25 minutes, we arrived to the capital – Victoria town from where we will begin our cruise. Victoria is the smallest capital in the world. Mahé is the biggest economical and political center in the Seychelles islands. In the port there are few restaurants, artistic galleries, handicraft shops and a amazing bazaar, where it’s possible to refull your stock of provisions. There are 68 beaches and a lot of verdure in the island: from the tropic forests to the coconut palms. The coast line is indented with a multitude of bays – from the smallest Caché, Coral, Carana – beach, the sunny major, Anse Nord Ost and ricing, to the biggest – Beau-Ballon, Anse Royal, Anse-a-la-Moche, Grande Anse, Anse Intendance (is famous for the beautiest beach in the island), Anse Tacamaca and the completely desert beaches of the Anse Souiac bay. The beaches Anse-a-la-Moche and Anse-Forbans are distinguished with their serene water and silence, and Beau-Ballon, which is stretched out from Fisher man cove to Vacoa Village, present the most famous and ‘civilized’ beach on the island – large sandy strip of 3 kilometers with buildings of the highest modern standards. Clear water and the bottom provide ideal conditions for swimming. For the amateurs of surfing the beach Grande-Anse which is famous for its nearly 2 meters high waves 3 kilometers long each, does provide a particular interest. The most of outskirt beaches are desert or practically solitary, so it’s not a problem to find a place for isolated rest there. And moving from beach to beach is very easy by walking – there are a multitude of built beautiful pedestrian tracks. From this point of view are very good the forest area of Sans-soucis and the the tops of the Three Brothers (699 M), the asphalted track Gog between the bay Anse-Etoile and the mountains Glaci, the area of Riviere-Grand-Bassin and Varigo with small cascade, and also from Belle-Hombre to the Major bay.
The unique in the planet grove of sea coconut palms (20 hectares) is situated in the island Mahé. The sight – Aldabra- is the biggest coral atoll in the world, together with the lagoon and the islands-satellites, it occupied a square of around 360 km².
