Boat Show in Fort Lawndale

The 45th Annual Lawndale Boat Show has taken place 28 October - 1 November 2004 in Lawndale, USA.

There have been exhibited numerous motor yachts and sailing vessels boats of all dimensions and types. There have been also some stands of companies, which produce electronics, equipment and accessories for yachts, rescue equipment and many other things.

Have been presented such companies as: Abeking & Rasmussen, Amels, Azimut, Baglietto, Benetti, Blohm+Voss, Canados, Carver, Fairline, Feadship, Ferretti, HDW, HDW-Nobiskrug, Heesen, Luerssen, Maiora, Oceanco, Palmer Johnson, Riva, Sunseeker, Trinity, Wally and many others.

The Queen is show has been unanimously declared 198-foot yacht Alfa IV from Oceanco Shipyards. It was built in 2004. LOA: 60.1 m, beam: 10.5 m, engines: Caterpillar 1650 hp. Cruising speed – 15 knots, maximum speed – 16 knots. Designer of interior is Andrew Winch.

Debutant: Flamingo Daze from the Company Hakvoort Shipyards.
This 3-deck yacht has been built in 2003. Hull is made of steel. On the yacht there is a big dining room, bar, several saloons. Under the “main saloon” there is a room with 102’’ flat screen and projector with sound system “Dolby surround”, a “cinema hall” on board. On the upper deck there is an area for sun bath with Jacuzzi, that by night can be transformed into a fountain with lights. Yacht is equipped by engines Caterpillar in order to reach high speed (15/5 knots).

Well, this is one of the most luxurious and beautiful super yachts. Interior is made in «New Orleans' Victorian era» style. Great attention is paid to music – in every cabin, in saloon, in bar - there is DVD and high-quality Stereo system.

New model from the Company Benetti: 143-foot model - Domani. This is 3-deck yacht with composite hull, series Vision. The main difference is in absence on the main deck the dining area. Instead of this there is a big spacious luxurious saloon. Dining room (for 10 guests) is transferred on the upper deck, where guests can enjoy marvelous panoramic view. Yacht is equipped by engines 2 x 1300hp CAT. Cruising speed is 15 knots; fuel use is 480 LPH.

One more debutant is the fastest racing motor yacht – 140-foot yacht called “The World Is Not Enough” from Millennium Yachts Company. Hull is made of aluminium, which is often used for aviation techniques. This yacht is high speed: 70 knots (80 MPH).

2.500 miles with speed 12 knots
1.000 miles with 50 knots
