Boat Show in Monaco

Monaco Boat Show (21-25 September 2004) – one of the most luxurious and exclusive exhibitions - came to the end. More than 450 companies from 27 countries have participated in this boat show. These are the companies that occupy on building, projecting, exploitation and charters of yachts, super yachts and mega yachts. It has been «on water» demonstration of more than 90 yachts of 20 to 80 meters.

Amoung the exhibitors we must mention such famous companies as: Abeking & Rasmussen, Amels, Azimut, Benetti, Blohm + Voss, Camper & Nicholsons, Cavendish White, D. Drettmann, De Valk, Edmiston, Feadship, Ferretti, Fraser, HDW, HDW-Nobiskrug, Heesen, Kaiserwerft, Luerssen, Nigel Burgess, Oceanco, Pershing, Riva, Sunseeker, Wally, YPI and many others.

The most big mega yacht on this boat show has been declared ALEXANDER. This yacht is with LOA nearly 122 meters (400'2'' or 121.97m). Luebecker Company built it in 1976.

The most big and impressive among modern mega yachts (set on water in 2004) consider to be the following models:

71.6 - meters (234'11'') Utopia company Feadship;
Built in June 2004 Utopia is the second biggest mega yacht built by Feadship Company. On the master cabin there are apartments, gym, buffet, saloon and isolated bathroom with Jacuzzi. There are 3 cabins for guests + 2 VIP apartments. The maximum quantity of the crew and guests is 20 persons. There is also a platform for helicopter and garage on the low deck. Radio and video equipment corresponds to “high-end” class. Maximum speed of yacht is 16 knots, cruising speed is 12 knots.

65 -meters (213'2'') White Rose of Drachs of the Company Claus Kusch;

60.97 - meters (200'0'') Phoenix of the Company Lurssen;
Phoenix has been set on water in June 2004. On this boat can accommodate 12 guests in 6 cabins and 16 persons of crew. On the main deck is situated master cabin; VIP cabin is on the stern, on the upper deck, 4 guests cabins are situated on low deck. Equipped by 2 engines MTU 12 V 4000 M 70 1.790 kW every yacht can reach a speed of 16 knots and 5500 turns. Hull construction secures the evenness of motion and diminution of vibration. There is a gym and Jacuzzi on this model.

The Heesen Company appeared with a yacht Lady Ingeborg. This company has declared with pride the 20th September 2004 that Lady Ingeborg has won prize “Yachts International Magazine” in nomination “2004 European Trophy for Innovation and Design”.
In spite of its dimensions and sizes (36.3 m of LOA and 7.12 m of Beam) yacht is enough high-speed and fast. Equipped by 2 engines MTU 12V4000 Lady Ingeborg reaches the speed 27 knots.

In 6 cabins can accommodate 12 guests. Master cabin is situated on the main deck, VIP cabin – on upper deck and 4 cabins for guests – on lower deck. There are also 2 marvelous saloons – on the main and on upper decks. Equipped by 2 engines Caterpillar 1850 hp every yacht has cruiser speed 15 knots, using all the fuel capacity without top-up – 5000 miles.

The Company Baglietto has presented with pride its new model - 42-meters Blue Eyes.

Per se it’s renovated and modernized model of 2003 yacht called "Blue Scorpion". They have changed exterior, upholstery, and color palette of yacht. Hull is made of steel and aluminium. Yacht has 2 decks. With 2 engines Caterpillar 3512B yacht can reach 16 knots (cruising speed is 15 knots).

Rodriquez Yachts Company has presented the yacht Custom Series 38. It is a modern innovative model, made in modernistic style by famous designer Francesco Paszkowski. This 38-meters (37,80 m/124,0 ft) yacht is equipped by 2 engines Caterpillar 3.512B power 2 x 1.566 kW (2 x 2.100 Hp). Maximum speed of yacht is 25 knots; cruising speed is 23.5 knots.

American company Palmer Johnson has presented its 120-foot yacht.

This yacht has debuted in 2003. Its distinguishing feature is high racing characteristics and capacity to reach high speed. One more advantage of this model is the low level of noise even if you go on maximum speed. Yacht is equipped by engines 2 x 2250 л/с MTU. Maximum speed is 30 knots; cruising speed is 26 knots. In 4 comfortable cabins you can accommodate 10 guests. And of course, we have to mention luxurious splendid design.

One more model of 2004 is Elegance Dynasty 116. This 35-meters yacht is equipped by engines 2 x MTU 16V 2000 M90, which help to reach the maximum speed of 19 knots and cruiser speed of 16 knots. Its distinguishing feature is the spacious and big cabins, there are 4 or 5 cabins there (optional).
